Logos come in a variety of shapes, sizes, forms and colours. Historically, they always had to look good in black and white – mainly so that they’d suit print well – but in recent years there’s been a stronger focus on bright, colourful and vibrant designs that don’t have to have a black and white counterpart. Designing for the screen means that you don’t have to worry about sticking to grayscale, and it opens the door to designers who prefer their logos to use splashes of bright, vivid colour to grab attention.
I wanted to bring together a collection of some of the more interesting, unusual and colourful logo designs. These designs are bold and imaginative, and whether you like them or not – they are impossible to ignore. Hopefully they’ll get you thinking about creating your own colourful, vibrant and bold logo – and if you do, I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
Which of these logo designs do you like best? Do you know of any examples that would be right at home in this post? I’d love to hear what you think in the comments.
